Data Assurance Connection Profile Parameters

Control-M for Data Assurance enables you to crosscheck your workflow data with one or more databases to verify its accuracy.

The following table describes Control-M for Data Assurance connection profile parameters.

Determines one of the following database types to use in the connection profile:

  • PostgreSQL

  • Snowflake

  • MSSQL

  • Oracle

  • File: A *.csv- or *.json file that contains the following parameters:

    • Pathname

    • (Optional) File Pattern.

    • Recent File.

    • Filter Method.

    • (Optional) Maximum Age (in hours).

    • File Type.

    • (Optional) Delimiter

      • Valid Values, (comma), ; (semicolon), |, tab, or whitespace.

      • Default,

    • Header

Host

Defines the Agent hostname that connects to the database.

Port

Defines the Data Assurance Gateway port.

Default: 27080

Name

Defines a free-text description of the database.

User

Defines the Data Source username.

Password

Defines the Data Source password.
